A conversation with author and advocate Sherry Matthews on the remarkable story of the Waco State Home for “dependent and neglected” children and the thousands of Texas children who called the institution home during the most vulnerable time of their lives.  Both harrowing and heartfelt, the first person stories of these so-called “throw away children” will inspire you to take a stand for the rights of children everywhere.  (wewerenotorphans.com)
